Parking
Monheim am Rhein is located between Cologne and Düsseldorf and can be reached by car via the motorways A59, A3 and A542. Public parking without time limit is offerered at the Rheinbogen Landscape Park on Schützenplatz, at the entrance to the old town. There are also around 600 parking spaces in the city center where you can park for up to three hours. Most of the parking spaces are located in the underground car park of the Rathauscenter and in the Heinestraße car park.

By public transport
You can reach Monheim am Rhein by taking the local S6 train that runs between Cologne and Düsseldorf/Essen. At the S-Bahn stations in Langenfeld (Rheinland), Langenfeld-Berghausen or Düsseldorf-Hellerhof, change to the bus that travels in the direction of Monheim am Rhein. The buses run regularly and at short intervals between the S-Bahn stations and downtown Monheim. And until late in the evening, too! It’s easy to get to us and leave again later.
The nearest regional train stations are Düsseldorf-Benrath, which can be reached by the 788 and 789 bus lines, and Leverkusen, which can be reached by the SB23 bus line. The regional express lines RE 1 and RE 5 run here.
From the bus station in Monheim you can take the autonomous bus A01 to the old town.
